2. P2E Games (Play to Earn)
Concept
Since the inception of P2E games in DeFi, they have attracted players and developers alike as a growing and evolving industry. Millions of people world-wide would love to be able to play games and earn tokens, which can be then exchanged to real-life currency. Although the concept is not new, most previous developments of similar projects have failed to ensure longevity of such mechanisms as the reward pool is quickly drained by players. In other words - the tokenomics don’t add up with real business processes and as a result the project fails. To ensure that the project doesn’t get drained of resources through game rewards after launch, we are implementing a strict economics system. Prior to the presale a beta version of one game will be released to display the concept. The beta version will have 7 levels and character customization. The final version will have a total of 25 levels, with each level the difficulty will be increased, but so will the rewards. The beta version will only be playable and allow to share scores, the final version will allow the players to connect their wallets and receive rewards after reaching their best score. The player can then replay the game and receive rewards for each attempt, depending how much he progresses, making the game infinitely replayable. Every playthrough will allow the player to earn a fixed amount of tokens per level. A certain amount of tokens will be reserved for the initial game rewards to attract players. As the tokens reward pool decreases - a buyback mechanism will be triggered in 3 different ways:
Regular Buybacks: Scheduled regular buybacks (e.g., weekly or monthly). This can help prevent sudden price spikes.
Smart Contracts: Utilizing smart contracts to automate buybacks based on predefined rules and conditions (e.g., buy when the price drops below a certain level).
Proportional Buybacks: Conducting buybacks in proportion to your revenue from advertisements, ensuring you only buy back a sustainable amount.
Character Creation
Each player will be able to create and customize their gameplay character. In the beta version of the game a total of 3 base characters will be provided (a dog, a cat and a frog). For each character a total of 7 slots will be available for customizations: Head, Face, Body, Left Arm, Right Arm, Feet and Accessory. Each of the slots will have at least 7 unique items to be placed in. This will allow highly diverse character customization. Given that there are 7 options available for each clothing item, we can calculate the total number of unique variations for one character:
Total variations for one character= 7 * 7 * 7 * 7 *7 *7 *7 = 823,543
So, the total number of unique variations for one character is 823,543.
Since there are 3 characters, we multiply this number by 3:
Total variations for all characters = 3 * 823,543 = 2,470,629
Therefore, the total number of unique variations in the beta version for all three characters combined is 2,470,629.
Gameplay
The first game to be presented will be a platformer game, like the classical Super Mario games. We have decided to go with simple games at first and implement our tokenomics and mechanisms. After development, we will expand on the list of available games that users can select from and play. Certain games will have assets available for purchase with $SPAWS tokens. Which means a user can play one game to earn tokens and spend them to purchase in-game assets in another game as long as he connects the same wallet.
Earn Tokens
Each game will consist of multiple levels that vary by difficulty, design and amount of rewards available for completion of each level or coins collected. The first game (platformer) will consist of 7 levels in the beta version and 25 levels in the alpha release of the game. In order to sustain the project's economics we have devised a strategic token distribution system. Each playthrough of the platformer game will allow the player to collect a total of 5,000 in-game coins across all 25 levels.
In-game coins will be valued at 1 coin = 10 $SPAWS tokens.
This way, collecting 10 in-game coins on any level will grant the player 100 $SPAWS tokens. Which means collecting all 5,000 in-game tokens will allow the player to receive a maximum of 50,000 $SPAWS tokens at early market cap stages.
Tokens are awarded for level completion and for collecting tokens during the level. With every consecutive level the player plays, he will be able to earn and collect more tokens. All players can replay the game as many times as they want and receive tokens for each level completed over and over again. It is important to note that as the project's market cap increases the amount of tokens earned will decrease to maintain a healthy economical balance. Everytime the market cap increases x2 from the starting market cap the amount of tokens available to earn will be decreased by x1.8. Share Score
Players can share their highest score and tokens earned after each playthrough. Either by reaching the highest game level or if the player reaches any level and fails the next one - he will have a chance to share his highest score based on the levels completed and amount of tokens earned. If a player starts the next level but fails to complete it - tokens collected in that level will not be earned. However, all previously collected tokens from past levels will be earned and airdropped to the players wallet.
More Games & Rewards
As the project grows, we will add content via new games with a possibility to earn and spend $SPAWS tokens. Some of the games that will be available are maintaining your own Animal Shelter, which will be a farming game and allow players to take care of rescued animals, purchase upgrades for their shelters with $SPAWS tokens and share their progress via social media.
